Background Information

The Armorel Fund is an annual fund provided by the college and distributed by the JCR. Its main aim is to provide support for students in order to travel for academic or internship-related reasons.

Applications open over the Easter vacation with funding awarded during Trinity term.

This funding is available to both the JCR and MCR.

Yes, you can still apply for the Armorel Fund, however, if you are successful, you can only claim reimbursement for things you have receipts for and have not requested from another fund.

Yes, your application can request money to cover aspects of more than one trip. The only limitation is that the maximum amount awardable is £200.00.

Yes, there is no harm in applying for the Armorel Fund. However, if you are awarded money but did not get into the internship, we would request you let us know so we can reallocate your money to another person.

Applications will be reviewed when the form closes at the end of 2nd week, and then you will be informed during Trinity of the result.

You will receive an email during Trinity term, once the applications are assessed, informing you of the result. If you are successful, the email will include information about the amount of money you’ve been awarded and how to claim it.

Unfortunately, not. Once the deadline has passed, we will be unable to accept any further applications as we will be deliberating the applications that have made it in and, as such, will be unable to add another one to the mix.
